Mourners say farewell to martyrs of security
TEHRAN – Citizens in Tehran on Wednesday participated massively in the funeral ceremony for security forces, better known as “martyrs of security”, who were brutalized during the foreign-backed riots in Tehran, mostly on January 8 to 10.
The mourners escorted the martyrs in front of the University of Tehran to the Mera’j Shohada in downtown Tehran.
Through their participation in the funeral ceremony, the people once again put on display their loyalty to the ideals of the Islamic Revolution, martyrs and resistance against the enemies.
The people also demonstrated their strong will in resisting the enemies, especially the U.S. and Israel, against the Islamic Republic.
A woman attending the funeral ceremony said the killing of security forces will make the people more resolute in defending their revolution and the ruling system.
She also said such heinous acts will fail to cause a crack in the will of Iranian people.
Former culture minister Mohammad Hosseini, a participant at the funeral, said the rioters, who beheaded defenders of security, put mosques on fire, and many other heinous acts, revealed their true nature. He also said U.S. President Donald Trump and
Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu will not achieve their vicious goals in backing violent protests in Iran.
The peaceful protests were turned brutal with the provocation of the United States, especially its criminal president who has repeatedly vowed to back the rioters, and Netanyahu, who is wanted by the International Criminal Court (ICC) for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
Those who committed acts of violence, sabotage and terrorism were mostly trained by the Mossad spy service.
